Getting started....

Okay, so I'm going to try this whole blogging thing. I've been reading several other ladies' blogs and let me just tell you, there are some crazy old gals in this world!! I've been inspired by Boo Mama and Big Mama (sorry, if I knew how to link this blog to theirs, I most definitely would!). You may wonder where the title of my blog came from.....well, for some unforeseen reason, my two oldest kiddos have developed the strangest obsession: They love mulch.

Mulch from the playground.

Mulch from the yard.

Mulch from restaurant landscaping.

Mulch from Atlanta, Chicago, or Timbuktu.

They are not partial to any particular kinds of mulch, just as long as it's mulch, they love it.

They love it so much that they fill their pockets daily with it. Now we have mulch scattered throughout our home, adding to it's decor. And I'll have to say, I'm becoming fond of it, too. (Totally kidding on that one!!). But I wanted a title that would reflect a significant part of my life, and my kiddos are that. They are my joys, with or without their mulch.

I'm looking forward to this whole blogging thing -- praying that I can keep it up. It's just nice to have a place to sit down and have some adult conversation, even if it is a one-on-one conversation with my computer and my little pretend friends out in the internet world. Whatever helps me retain the last semblance of sanity that I have.
